One week into our Great Trade UP for Birmingham Children's Hospital, and we've made steady progress. A tactical masterstroke has given us two fronts of attack.
Firstly, the cunning tactical ploy - splitting the balloon in two so we can attack on two fronts. Surely half a balloon is still worth something to someone?
Apparently so, as on the first front, SEAT's Perry Clarke swapped £50's worth of music vouchers, which we have now traded for a free service from KwikFit, worth £205.
The second half of the balloon has been even more successful - A £219 Dyson non blade desk fan donated by Malcolm Hird from Dyson Limited, which thanks to Michelin Tyres has now become a hospitality package to the British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone on the 7th October, estimated value £500.
With three weeks still to go, can we catch current leaders Hotel La Tour? If you think you can help us - and more importantly the Children's Hospital - with higher value trade items, call Heather Bright on 0844 85 45 100.
