Graham Hale - Chief Executive Officer

I have overall strategic and people responsibility for Fleet Hire. With a FTSE top 20 company banking background I have a wealth of experience gained within the asset finance and contract hire industry. This includes: 10 years managing a £10 billion big ticket leasing book , 10 years developing and managing a wholesale vehicle funding business that developed annual revenues totally over £1 billion per annum; 3 years as Head of Godfrey Davis Contract Hire (a bank owned 30,000 fleet size business) and a lead project role to merge two contract hire companies to form what is today the largest contract hire and leasing company in the UK.

Retaining a good sense of humour has helped me stay grounded and focused through my career. In terms of downtime I enjoy skiing, travelling, keeping fit and holidays in the sun! I also tentatively follow the mixed fortunes of Birmingham City Football Club which is very much an emotional roller coaster ride involving more downs than ups!

Bob Chamberlain - Commercial Director

I have been on ‘both sides of the fence’ in my career with several years experience of managing a large corporate fleet before originally joining Fleet Hire as Operations Director during which time I helped develop supplier relationships and a robust operational framework. Laterally as part of Fleet Hire’s strategic evolution I have moved into the role of Commercial Director where my responsibility is to nuture and build a commercial network of stakeholder relationships and coaching influences in addition to managing the building facilities side of the business.

Social by job, social by nature I am a keen golfer and networker.

Chris Joyce - Chief Operating Officer

I joined Fleet Hire in 2008 after a career at Godfrey Davis and Bank of Scotland, spanning over 25 years. During that time I held senior positions covering all aspects of fleet operation and customer service.

My role at Fleet Hire is to ensure that we have class leading people, systems and solutions to ensure that customer's mobility requirements are fully satisfied.

Outside of work, I like just about any sport and regularly cycle, play golf, ski and try to take money off my friends at poker! I follow Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, which is not a popular team in the office!

Kaye Sharpe - Chief Financial Officer

I have 34 years of accountancy experience gained within both SME and public sector finance and treasury roles encompassing management of audit, financial controls and corporate governance.

Over the last 10 years at Fleet Hire I have developed robust and integrated accounting systems and created the architecture that sits behind the funding instruments of the business. My role touches all parts of business activity from cash management through to corporate compliance.

In my spare time I am kept busy managing the needs of my two headstrong teenage boys but downtime is by way of a good read!

Nick Poole - Sales Director

Proud to be one of the founder members of Fleet Hire, working with some of the same team for nearly 20 years now. I’m responsible for steering the Sales Team to their targets and trying to delight our customers in the process. I enjoy the constant challenges that my role brings and take pleasure in working in an environment and culture that values the individual and recognises effort & excellence.

Hobbies? – Socialising, travel, watching live music, have been learning guitar so I can eventually emulate my Rock Heroes (eg. Kyle Gass) but most of all I love to spend time with my family. DIY is a passion, but unfortunately not a skill.
